Short Biography

Dr. Nusrat Rikza-English is an academic professional at RTM Al-Kabir Technical University (RTM-AKTU) with demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching, research, and academic leadership. Designation & Affiliation Faculty Member, RTM Al-Kabir Technical University (RTM-AKTU).


Short Biography
Dr. Nusrat Rikza currently serves as an Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Education at RTM Al-Kabir Technical University (RTM-AKTU). Prior to this role, she worked as an Assistant Professor and Lecturer in the Department of English at North East University Bangladesh, Sylhet.

With extensive experience in undergraduate and graduate teaching, research supervision, and academic administration, she has also contributed to curriculum development following Outcome-Based Education (OBE) guidelines.

Dr. Rikza completed her PhD in English from Islamic University, Kushtia. She also obtained her Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Master of Arts (MA) degree from the prestigious Shahjalal University of Science & Technology (SUST). Her research and publications mainly focus on postcolonial literature, Marxist criticism, and socio-economic issues reflected in literary texts. With a unique blend of academic leadership, professional experience, and creative innovation, she continues to make meaningful contributions to the advancement of education and academic development.

RESEARCH INTEREST

Her research interests lie in the fields of Postcolonial Studies and Neo-liberalism, Marxist Literary Criticism, Class, society, and politics in literature, Social and cultural structures in working conditions, Capitalism and its socio-economic impacts in literature, Education policy, development, and public-private partnership in education.
