Her research interests lie in the fields of Postcolonial Studies and Neo-liberalism, Marxist Literary Criticism, Class, society, and politics in literature, Social and cultural structures in working conditions, Capitalism and its socio-economic impacts in literature, Education policy, development, and public-private partnership in education.

Postcolonial Literature – examining colonial and postcolonial narratives, identity, power, and resistance in global literary texts.

South Asian Literature – studying the cultural, historical, and political contexts shaping literary works from South Asia.
Research Methodology in Literary Studies – guiding students in academic research, scholarly writing, and methodological approaches to literary analysis.
