Short Biography

Ms. Tarana Hasan is currently serving as a Lecturer in the Department of Business and Development Studies at RTM Al-Kabir Technical University (RTM-AKTU). Before joining RTM AKTU, she has worked on various initiatives, including RMG sector and famous Private Manufacturing Industry like Abul Khair Group. Her practical knowledge and excellent academic credentials will add a lot in our curriculum.

She received her MBA and BBA degree from University of Chittagong with excellent grades. In MBA, she achieved first class first position in her major in HRM. She also completed Foundation Skill Program on Accounting & Finance under LICT program organized by Bangladesh Computer Council & Ministry of ICT, Bangladesh. In addition, she achieved certificates on "Sustainable Tourism-promoting environmental public health" authorized by University of Copenhagen; and on "Managerial Accounting" authorized by University of Illinois.

Her research interests span the fields of Leadership, Training and Development, Conflict Management and Negotiations and Employee Satisfaction.
