Short Biography

Jannatul Nayem Novera currently serves as a Lecturer in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at RTM Al-Kabir Technical University (RTM-AKTU), Sylhet, Bangladesh. She is an academic professional at RTM Al-Kabir Technical University (RTM-AKTU) with demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching and research. She specializes in biomedical engineering, machine learning, and deep learning applications, with a focus on intelligent healthcare systems, bioelectrical impedance analysis, and AI-driven biomedical prediction. She has published research on intracellular fluid modeling, hybrid plasmonic waveguides for nano-scale light confinement, and machine learning–based biomedical optimization, and has received the National Science and Technology (NST) Fellowship and the Bank Asia Higher Studies Scholarship.

She holds an M.Sc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Noakhali Science and Technology University, following her B.Sc. in the same discipline.

Her research interests lie in the fields of biomedical engineering, machine learning, and deep learning. She is particularly interested in developing intelligent healthcare systems, applying data-driven models for biomedical prediction, and integrating advanced signal and image processing techniques into medical diagnostics. Her work also explores nano-scale photonic structures and AI-based approaches to improve accuracy and efficiency in biomedical and engineering applications.

Currently, she is investigating advanced deep learning models for biomedical image enhancement, healthcare prediction systems, and integration of AI and IoT for smart sensing applications. She teaches courses in electronics, digital systems, programming, telecommunication engineering, and experimental laboratories, combining theory with practical, hands-on learning. She also mentors’ students, supervises research projects, and organizes technical events to promote innovation and skill development within the EEE community.

RESEARCH INTEREST

Her research interests span the fields of Biomedical engineering and image processing.
