Short Biography

Md. Ruhul Amin is a Lecturer in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at RTM Al-Kabir Technical University (RTM-AKTU), Sylhet, Bangladesh. He is currently pursuing his M.Sc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST), where he also earned his B.Sc. degree. His academic and professional journey reflects a strong commitment to research, teaching, and innovation in the fields of photonics and sensing technologies.

His primary research interests include terahertz metamaterials, photonic biosensing devices, wireless power transfer, and energy systems. He is particularly engaged in the development and optimization of multiband terahertz absorbers for high-sensitivity biochemical and biomedical sensing. He has actively contributed to international conferences and has multiple research works currently under peer review.

In his teaching role, he has instructed a wide range of undergraduate courses and laboratory sessions, while also supervising student research and robotics projects. He has participated in several industrial training programs focused on VLSI design, SCADA systems, and industrial instrumentation.

Ruhul is proficient in simulation and analytical tools, including CST Microwave Studio, ANSYS, MATLAB/Simulink, and Origin Pro. His professional approach integrates academic rigor with practical application, aiming to advance emerging technologies through interdisciplinary collaboration and applied research.
