RTM-AKTU will introduce a wide variety of undergraduate programs in a phased approach, covering all disciplines of science, engineering, computer science, health, digital development, information technology, business and development, life sciences, entrepreneurship and management, artificial Intelligence, marine sciences, energy resources management, and environmental management.
At the beginning, RTM-AKTU will start with the following Faculties and Departments. However, the University will expand its academic portfolio in a phased manner as approved by the relevant authorities and particularly the University Grants Commission (UGC).

Fee Waiver |
• | All students admitted in 2021 (50th Year of Bangladesh’s Independence) will get a 40% waiver on Semester and Tuition Fees. |
• | A student with total GPA 10 in SSC & HSC will get additional 20% or total score 9 will get additional 10% fee waiver. |
• | Selected poor and meritorious students (3%) will get 100% Waiver on Semester and Tuition Fees (excluding registration fee & skill/practice fees). |
• | Selected poor and meritorious dependents (son/daughter) of Freedom Fighters (3%) will get 100% Waiver on Semester and Tuition Fees (excluding registration fee & skill/practice fees). |
• | Two or more brother/ sister studying at the university will get special 10% Tuition Waiver. |
• | A student may get credit waiver based on their previous work experience / academic background, and accordingly fees will be adjusted. |
• | A separate application should be submitted to Registrar of the University for such waiver. Based on the university decision, student tuition fees will be adjusted / revised / reduced |
• | In order to encourage students to pay the full annual amount of fees upfront, they ought to be given additional 5% waiver in tuition fees. |
• | Continuations of all waivers mentioned above are contingent upon satisfactory performance of the previous year. |
Admission Requirements for Postgraduate Programs:
• | Students having graduation from a recognized educational institution are eligible to apply |
• | Work experience after graduation in a related field is preferred but not essential |

Tuition Fees and other charges
By registering as a student in any department, the student accepts the responsibility for payment of the charge of the entire semester/session. The student is required to pay his/her fees as specified. Admission Charges, tuition fees and other charges are determined by the University Authority and may be revised as and when necessary.
