Short Biography

Rasa Iffat Helmi is currently functioning at RTM Al-Kabir Technical University (RTM-AKTU) as a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering from August 01, 2022. She is a former Teaching Assistant of C.S.E department at Institute of Engineering & Management (IEM, Kolkata, West Bengal, India). Before that, she worked as Research Assistant of Harvey E. Schmidt (Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science, Duksung Women’s University, Seoul, Korea). She completed Master of Technology in Computer Science & Engineering from Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT, West Bengal, India).

Rasa attended multiple conferences, seminars, and training workshops abroad supported by renowned organizations including Springer, CDAC, Computer Society of India, CODECHEF, etc. She was the Paper Reviewer for UEM Conference 2019. Till now, Rasa is the main author of two Research Papers published by the International Journal of Scientific & Engineering Research – IJSER, indexed by SCOPUS.

RESEARCH INTEREST

Research interests are broad and encompass network measurement, the design of new network architectures and network protocols, the design and implementation of networked applications and systems, and network performance analysis. Application domains of interest range from data communication to ad-hoc network to peer-to-peer systems.
