Short Biography

Ms. Jaya Sarker is currently serving as a Lecturer in the Department of Applied Health and Nutrition at RTM Al-Kabir Technical University (RTM-AKTU).

Ms. Jaya obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health and Informatics from Jahangirnagar University and MPH degree from North South University. She has previously worked as a Research Officer at Bangladesh University of Health Sciences, Research Assistant at James P Grant School of Public Health, BRAC University.

She has a great Communication, Organizing and Team Building skill. During her study period, she served as ‘Graduate Teaching Assistant’ at Public Health Department of North South University.

RESEARCH INTEREST

Her areas of interest in research are mental health, non-communicable diseases, neurological, neurodevelopmental, neurodegenerative disorders, and climate change.
