Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)

The Department of Business Administration offers a four-year Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), which consisted of eight semesters and of total 132 credits. The aim of the BBA program is to prepare students for developing an understanding of the national and global business environment. The curriculum of the program emphasizes on the development of students’ fundamental learning skills as well as communication and computing skills, which are essential to achieve a successful career goal. Specialized and interdisciplinary courses of the program focus on building leadership abilities to create students as future leaders to operate effective in growing technologically advanced national and global marketplace.

The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) is a four-year degree program with an Outcome Based Education (OBE) curriculum. Our program consists of eight semester and of total 132 credits. We offer 2 semesters a year, and each semester comprises 6 months.

The 2-Year BBA program consists of the following courses:

New students are admitted to the program two times a year – in Spring Semester and Summer Semester. To apply for admission, the candidates will require 12-years of formal education with the expected results as mentioned below:

• Minimum 2.5 GPA both in SSC or equivalent exam (Dakhil, Vocational) and HSC or Equivalent exams (Alim, Vocational, BM, Diploma in Commerce, Diploma in Business Studies from any group. GPA 2 may be considered provided total GPA in both levels stands at 6.00. Or,
• ‘O’ level examination 5 subjects and for ‘A’ level examination 2 subjects must be passed respectively from which at least ‘B’ grade or GPA ‘4’ must be obtained in 4 courses and ‘C’ grade or GPA ‘3.5’ must be obtained in the remaining three subjects out of total 7 courses in both the levels. Or,
• Diploma from a recognized institution with a GPA of 2.00 (out of 4) or equivalent,
• Completion of 5 (five) O-level subjects and at least 2 (two) A-level subjects. Out of these 7 subjects, applicants must have minimum 4 ‘B’ grade and 3 ‘C’ grades.
• Sons/daughters of Freedom Fighters with a total GPA of 5.00 in SSC and HSC.

• Total Fees (8 Semesters, 132 credits): After 40% waiver Tk. 256,200
• Just pay Tk. 15,000 for admission/registration. The rest of the amount can be deposited in the beginning of each semester.

• Application Form price Taka 500.
• Library caution money Tk. 1,000, which is refundable and thus not included in the total amount.
• Deposit at least Tk. 15,000 as registration fee during admission and the rest of the amount can be deposited in the beginning of each semester.
• The semester fee, skill/LAB fee and tuition fee of 1st semester should be deposited within 15 days of the submission of Admission Application Form.
  
  

• All students will get a 40% waiver of Semester and Tuition Fees (for 50th Year of Bangladesh’s Independence).
