The Department offers two MBA programs: a 2-year, and a 1-year Programs with an Outcome Based Education (OBE) curriculum. We offer 2 semesters a year, and each semester comprises 6 months.

2–Year MBA Program: The 2-Year MBA Program focused on real-world practices is designed for the graduates of any discipline. Our program provides students with a practical set of skills which are essential to accelerate their career pathway.
The 2-Year MBA program consists of the following courses:

1–Year MBA Program: The 1-Year MBA Program is particularly designed only for the students who have passed BBA and who are keen on concentrated experience and wish to return to the job market quickly.

| Admission Requirements |
New students are admitted to the program two times a year – in Spring Semester and Summer Semester. To be eligible to apply for admission in MBA programs a candidate will require:
A Bachelor degree in any discipline from any recognized educational institution minimum 15 years of schooling with the expected results as mentioned below: | ||
- | Minimum 2.5 GPA both in SSC or equivalent exam (Dakhil, Vocational) and HSC or equivalent exam (Alim, Vocational, BM, Diploma in Commerce, Diploma in Business Studies from any group. GPA 2 may be considered provided total GPA in both levels stands at 6.00. Or, | |
- | ‘O’ level examination 5 subjects and for ‘A’ level examination 2 subjects must be passed respectively from which at least ‘B’ grade or GPA ‘4’ must be obtained in 4 courses and ‘C’ grade or GPA ‘3.5’ must be obtained in the remaining three subjects out of total 7 courses in both the levels. | Diploma from a recognized institution with a GPA of 2.00 (out of 4) or equivalent. | ||
| Sons/daughters of Freedom Fighters with a total GPA of 5.00 in SSC and HSC. | ||
| For two-year BA/B.Sc./B.Com. degrees, a Master degree will be required. | ||
| BBA degree from any recognized educational institution is required only for 1 year MBA program. | ||
| Fee Structure |
- Total Fees:
- 2-Year MBA: (4 Semesters, 69 credits): After 40% waiver Tk. 97,900
- 1-Year MBA: (2 Semesters, 39 credits): After 40% waiver Tk. 60,500
- Just pay Tk. 15,000 for admission/registration. The rest of the amount can be deposited in the beginning of each semester.

| Important Notes |
- Application Form price Taka 500.
- Library caution money Tk. 1,000, which is refundable and thus not included in the total amount.
- While taking admission, a student has to pay Tk. 15,000 as admission/registration fee.
- Deposit at least Tk. 15,000 as registration fee during admission and the rest of the amount can be deposited in the beginning of each semester.
- The semester fee, skill/LAB fee and tuition fee of 1st semester should be deposited within 15 days of the submission of Admission Application Form..
| Fee Waiver |
- All students will get a 40% waiver of Semester and Tuition Fees (for 50th Year of Bangladesh’s Independence).
- The eligible students may get other fee waivers as per RTM-AKTU policy. For more details, please contact admission office.
